Multi tag tips, batch unifying tags and removing specific tag formats

With MP4 Stream Editor's Multi tag list it's possible to batch process whole folders with audio files, like converting all supported tag formats to a specified tag format with support of merging the different tag formats into one selected tag format.
It's also possible to batch remove specified tag formats from all the files in a folder.

The 'Any tags to specified tag format' functionality should be used only with specific audio file formats. Like ID3v2 should be added only to audio files that are supported commonly by other software as well, like MP3, WAV or DSD files. MP4 files should not be tagged with ID3v2 because the files would become invalid and will not be possible to open them by other software. Flac or Opus and Vorbis tags can only be added to Flac and Opus and Vorbis files respectively.
To work with specific audio files, use the file and folder browser on the left side of the main window, select for example to only list MP3 files from the drop-down list, select a folder and click the green + button. You will be asked whether to recourse the sub-folders as well. Then, for example with MP3 files that support the ID3v2 tags, you can convert and merge all the tags found in the file into a single ID3v2 tag and remove all other tag formats with the 'Remove tags' functionality.
When merging tags, for example, if there is an ID3v2 tag in the file with an 'Artist' field and there is an APEv2 tag too in the file with an 'Album' field, and create ID3v2 is selected, the new ID3v2 tag will include the 'Album' field from the APEv2 tag, and the existing 'Artist' field will be preserved. Click 'Process' on the right side to merge the tags.
'Any tags to specified tag format' functionality will merge all the tags found in the file into a single format like this.
After unifying the tags the old not needed tags can be removed from the same multi tag file list, just select the 'Delete tags' tab, checkmark the tags you wish to remove and click 'Process' on the right side of the panel to remove the not needed tags from the files.

It's always a good idea to have a backup and work on a copy of the files when batch processing them in case something goes wrong.
The Multi tag list has a limit of 100 000 files max.
